When one is in the business of being a sort of  “critic”, for want of a better word, he is evaluating a product while trying really hard to look at it through the eyes of the person who is actually using it.

That user has purchased that product with a view to finding a solution to a problem or group of problems and finding a way out of the principal situation that is driving him/her up the wall. Fortunately, there is hope!

When this poor person is faced with the prospect of feeding a house full of guests on fairly short notice and having most of the family members who were signed up to fix the salads and make the side dishes come down with the Flu……What to do?? The prospect of chopping all of those veggies and cutting up all of the other meal components….by hand is the stuff of migraines.

The obvious solution is a food processor! A Saturday morning cooking show on TV lights the bulb over your head!!

A quick trip to the family Computer, an order through the proper website and a processor is on the way!

After a short period of nail biting and pacing up and down the front porch, behold the UPS truck in all its glory! Then, after a period of plowing through the packing materials and a quick trip to the kitchen sink, we are up and running!

After that, it’s all history. The veggies are shredded, the pie crust is done in a flash without lumps and the salsa ingredients are chopped evenly in nothing flat!

Unfortunately, too few people really realize the value of a food processor as a general time and labor saving device until they have the experience of speeding up their kitchen chores when they are racing the clock!
